In-House Counselors
Counselor: Derrick Houle
Director of Applied Psychology at Oak Hills Christian College. He received his B.A. in Social Science and M.A. in Counseling and Psychology from Providence Seminary, Otterburne, MB, Canada. Derrick has been providing . counseling services to CWLC for several years.

Counselor: Lynn Kruse
Lynn graduated from Oak Hills Christian College in May of 2021 with a four-year degree in Addictions Counseling and in the summer of 2021 received her license as an alcohol and drug counselor. Prior to returning to school for this degree, she had been a nurse for over 40 years.
Lynn has 4 children and is blessed with 14 grandchildren. She is currently working in a campus health and wellness nurse/counselor role at Oak Hills Christian College, as well as, addictions counseling at Mustard Seed Homes and Clear Waters Life Center.

My desire is to work with clients and help them to see changes they can make in habits and behaviors to achieve and maintain sobriety. Changes that can lead to experiencing more peace and joy in their daily living. I enjoy spending time with family, sewing, knitting, and up-cycling treasures I find. This group will provide encouragement and accountability as you work through change. You will have continued social support from peers who are also in recovery which has proven to be a powerful tool in promoting long-term sobriety. A licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor facilitates this group. MEETINGS: Clearbrook Campus on the 2nd floor, in the second room to the right. |
